October/November

snow -1 °C

It was Halloween and it was the first time I actually got to celebrate this holiday. It was a very fun experience to me and I loved every second of it. The group of international students in my school went trick or treating together, the costumes were awesome, there were giraffes, champions from League of Legends, angels, characters from Grease, ghosts, zombies and I was dressed up as Darth Vader. By the end of the night I had a huge pillowcase half full with candy. Trick or treating was extremely fun and I loved it.
Well, that was Halloween but there were also the weeks of preparation before, I carved two pumpkins and they turned out to be pretty cool even though it was the first time I carved pumpkins.
On November 11th was the Remembrance Day celebration and I went to watch it. It was very beautiful and very meaningful. It’s a good holiday because you get to remember all the Canadian soldiers who fought in wars and what they did.
It’s starting to snow and I’m getting pretty excited for the winter and the big amounts of snow. Canadians say I should not be excited for that though. But anyways I still want the winter to come.
The experience keeps on being great and I just don’t want it to finish.

Halloween is always a fun time to be creative and dress up in costume! (The treats can be pretty good too!)
We'll see what you think of winter in January! lol!
